The 930i series is the result of decades of experience in producing shotguns for sport shooting, coupled with valuable collaboration with seasoned competitive shooters from around the globe. The 930i is a competition shotgun built around a masterfully crafted barrel. Each 930i barrel is a master work that takes experienced craftsmen months to produce in a painstaking process that no other manufacturer is able to replicate.
Crafted from Breda's solid bar stock made of the renowned "Acciaio Breda '' formula high carbon steel alloy and then aged in our proprietary process, this material vastly improved barrel harmonics and pattern uniformity. The bar stock is then slowly drilled so as not to upset the delicate molecules of steel to create a barrel blank. The inner profile is then shaped to 18.5 and then back-bored and the optimized forcing cones are cut. Finally the inner dimension is honed using specialized ceramic inserts to between 18.6 / 18.65, before being lined with white nickel chromium. Test firing at the Italian National Proof House to CPI standard is followed by in factory test firing prior to delivery ensures each barrel meets our exacting specifications.
The barrel of the 930i like all Breda shotguns is flat shooting, meaning that the center mass pattern impact very closely mirrors the shooter's point of aim. No guesswork or under aim to correct for barrel deflection is required for the marksman to hit the aim point squarely.
Building on this theme of painstaking craftsmanship, the trigger group is also exceptional. It is entirely CNC machined from a solid billet of Aerospace grade Ergal Aluminum alloy. The material is chosen for its exceptional mechanical resiliency and lightweight performance. This outstanding chassis enables the essential tolerances between trigger components to remain near factory spec over the lifetime of the shotgun. The Breda 930i target shotgun addresses the key needs of high volume skeet and trap shooters, by providing cutting-edge technical solutions for easy operation, customization and comfort, including an oversized bolt handle, an improved ergonomic bolt release button, a Bradley style white front bead sight and brass mid-bead sight, and a stock with adjustable comb. Additionally, a custom weighting solution is included and can be used to add weight to the forend and the stock to customize the way the shotgun swings.
The adjustable comb is a fantastic feature, allowing for precise, millimetric adjustments to the stock, ensuring a dedicated and accurate sight picture for each individual shooter. The wooden cheek pad can be modified to adjust both the rise and cast, accommodating the shooter's unique requirements.
For added comfort the chamber is back bored and forcing cone is optimized, resulting in reduced felt recoil, this enhances stability for more accurate follow up shots.
Utilizing the Breda rotating bolt head inertia technology, designed and perfected by the master Burno Civolani himself during his years of employment at Breda, the 930i sport shooting shotgun delivers unparalleled reliability, safety, and ease of use.
Available in barrel lengths of 28" and 30", the 930i includes a set of three extended choke tubes measuring approximately 3.5".
Mechanical precision and performance aside, the signature Italian styling of the 930i is on full display, the barrel is deep double blued and polished to a deep luster as is the aluminum upper receiver. The barrel is crowned with a flat rib that tapers from 10mm to 8mm. Walnut for the 930i is hand selected "fancy" grade Turkish walnut that is hand rubbed with a blend of natural oils and buffed to deep semi gloss luster. The 930i is offered in three color variants: black with nickel accents, nickel with blue accents, or nickel with red accents.

TRIGGER GUARD:Machined from a solid aluminum billet with the same characteristics as that of the receiver and then finished by hand in the same method in an anodized blue. It is then hand fit to the receiver in order to achieve the most precise union with internal components as well as the receiver. Customized tuning for a quicker and lighter trigger compared to a hunting shotgun.
